What we do

Services

Everything below comes with the same deal: a plain-English explanation, an estimate you approve first, and work done right for drivers in Bristol, Plainville, Terryville, Southington, Burlington, Wolcott, Farmington, and nearby Connecticut towns.

Oil Changes

Fast, clean oil and filter service using the right oil for your engine, not whatever's on the shelf. Every oil change includes a multi-point look-over so small problems get caught while they're still small (and cheap).

Good for: routine maintenance, pre-road-trip checkups, and keeping your warranty service records in order.

Tune-Ups

Spark plugs, filters, fluids, belts, and a sharp set of eyes on everything in between. A proper tune-up restores lost performance and fuel economy. It's a lot cheaper than the problems it prevents.

Notice rough idle, sluggish acceleration, or worse mileage than usual? That's usually where we start.

Brake Work

Pads, rotors, calipers, brake lines, and hydraulics, inspected honestly and replaced only when they actually need it. If your pads have life left, we'll tell you how much and when to come back.

Squealing, grinding, a soft pedal, or a pull to one side when braking? Don't sit on it. Brakes are the one system you never want to gamble with.

Battery & Starter Replacement

Slow cranks, clicking, or a car that needs a jump every cold morning? We test the battery, starter, and alternator to find which one is actually the problem, then replace only what's needed. No "might as well do all three" upsell.

Steering & Suspension Repair

Shocks, struts, springs, ball joints, tie rods, control arms, and bushings. We chase down clunks, wandering steering, and uneven tire wear to the actual worn part, so your vehicle rides tight and tracks straight.

Hearing a clunk over bumps or feeling every crack in the pavement? Time for an inspection.

Driveline Repair

Axles, CV joints, driveshafts, u-joints, transfer cases, and differentials. Driveline work is detail work. We do it in-house on everything from front-wheel-drive commuters to four-wheel-drive trucks.

Vibration at speed, clicking on turns, or a clunk when you shift into drive? That's driveline territory.

Cooling & Heating Repair

Radiators, water pumps, thermostats, hoses, cooling fans, and heater cores. An overheating engine can destroy itself fast. If your temperature gauge is climbing or your heat has gone cold, get it looked at before a cheap fix becomes an expensive one.

Diagnostics

A check engine light is a symptom, not a diagnosis. We use advanced diagnostics and two decades of experience to find the actual root cause instead of replacing parts one at a time on your dime and calling it troubleshooting.

Bring us the car that three other shops couldn't figure out. Those are our favorites.

Electrical Repair

Wiring, grounds, sensors, lighting, power accessories, and intermittent electrical problems. Modern vehicles are rolling computers, and electrical faults take patience and methodical testing. That's exactly the kind of work we like.

Engine Replacement

When an engine is truly done, we'll say so. Then we'll lay out your options honestly, whether that's a quality replacement, a rebuild, or a frank conversation about whether the vehicle is worth it. Swaps are done methodically: measured, documented, torqued to spec, and road-tested.

We handle daily drivers, work vehicles, and performance builds.

Transmission Repair

Leaks, slipping, hard shifts, delayed engagement: automatic or manual, we diagnose transmission problems honestly. Plenty of "you need a new transmission" verdicts turn out to be a sensor, a solenoid, or a fluid issue. We check the cheap stuff first.

Transmission Replacement

When repair doesn't make sense, we replace it with quality units, new fluids, proper torque specs, and a road test before the keys come back. Clutch replacements on manuals are handled the same way: flywheel checked, hardware replaced, done once, done right.
